Day at the beach and at the National Stadium
On July 22, some of our boys took the journey from Kakata to Monrovia to served as mascots for the opening of the new Samuel K. Doe Stadium (SKD ). It was a moment that some of the boys will never forget. Some of them got to shake hands with President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf during the matches. In addition, at half time, they trained and played under the watchful eyes of the Liberian National team assistant coach Kevin. They also served as ball boys for all the matches.
After the matches at SKD, they were treated to a day at the beach with the coaches. They trained and played beach soccer under the watchful eyes of our coaches. For some, it was the first time that they have ever seen the ocean. It was a weekend that was filled with firsts and memories.
